Love Knows No Distance LED Sign
I made this sign by laser-cutting clear acrylic and lighting up the sign with a LED base. I personally designed the sign to portray how love can stretch any distance, even after death. I had each person draw the heart corresponding to their location, creating a personal connection to each heart.

DESIGN
This design was created because I realized that my siblings are across the US. I had each of my sibling draw their own heart and put said heart at their location to add a meaningful touch. The receiver of this gift loves personalized and thoughtful gifts, making this a wonderful design.
MANUFACTURING
I manufactured this design by laser cutting clear acrylic. This was actually a very difficult process as many students were using the manufacturing resources for classes and took priority. Originally, I had planned on creating the base of the project using LEDs and laser-cut wood. However, the popularity of the manufacturing tools led to that being unrealistic. Eventually, I was able to create the design and the recipient was delighted by the result.
